Taipei vest (Eng)

The Taipei vest is worked from the top down. The back is knit flat first to the armholes, then fronts are picked up along the shoulders and worked separately while the neckline is shaped. Front and back are then joined and the body is worked in the round. Once finished, collar and armhole trim are added.
This vest has approximately 10-14 cm/4-5,5” positive ease.

If you are between two sizes I suggest you choose the smaller size.

Finished garment measurements:

Laguna blanca from Argentine brand Tex Andes. 100 g = 230 m/250 yd, 60 % Merino wool, 28 % viscose, 12% linen.
(260) 280 (330) 380 (400) 450 gramos grams A longer garment will require more yarn.

Recommended needles:

4 mm/US 6 (body), 3 mm/US 2.5 (hem and collar ribbing) and 3.75 mm/US 5 (armholes) circular needles.
